Current Board Members Seeking Re-Election Current Board Members Seeking Re-Election
The Election/Annual meeting for the 2020 Key Largo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at the Pilot House Restaurant and Marina. According to the Key Largo Chamber bylaws, each year an election for all open seats must take place. All but one of your current board of directors have decided to run, leaving only one vacancy. The nominating committee was able to find a few additional candidates, however in the end, only one was able to commit. That said, the election will move forward with a vote of approval from all business members in good standing. At the annual meeting, members will vote to approve the Board of Directors and on a revision of the current bylaws. If you are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots, along with a ballot for the bylaws revision, were sent by email. After reviewing the proposed change to the bylaws, absentee ballot members may vote, and both ballots should be returned to the chamber by November 11, 2019. Those wishing to attend the meeting may vote in person. The coming year will be exciting, with many important decisions to be made. With your participation, it can be a successful year for the entire chamber community. We are counting on your presence and support for the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce.
