There’s something so energetic, so alive about April. Do you feel it? With the rejuvenation of the spring season upon us, why not channel some of your energy into volunteerism and start at your Chamber? Your Key Largo Chamber of Commerce is always looking for Volunteers and we have several upcoming events and opportunities for you to participate in to make a difference in our community. I promise you’ll receive unexpected benefits from donating your time and talents, so jump on board and join your friends and neighbors in volunteering. Let’s pay it forward! Upcoming Event Volunteer Opportunities: • Spiegel Grove volunteers needed on Thursday, May 18. Volunteer at the reception at the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce celebrating the mounting of the last plaque on the Spiegel Grove. • Fourth of July volunteers needed on Tuesday, July 4. Lend your help with the Chamber float, at the
parade, and/or at the picnic at the Key Largo Community Park,
Looking to increase your involvement with the Chamber? Consider running for the Board of Directors. We’ll have more information on elections in a few months, but it’s never too soon to begin thinking about it and learning what is involved. Feel free to ask me about it (305) 458-4523 or ask any of your board members. To volunteer for any of these events or to learn more about other volunteer opportunities, please call Elizabeth or Eileen at (305) 451-1414. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
